A guided tour in the temporary exhibition "Pentadaktylos - Impressions" by the visual artist and professor Savvas Christodoulides, curator of the exhibition.
In a bid to illustrate how the image of Pentadaktylos has been interwoven with the city of Nicosia through time, the Leventis Municipal Museum has included the exhibition “Pentadaktylos – Impressions” in the programme of celebrations for its 30th anniversary. The exhibition, featuring artworks, engravings, postcards and photographs conjures up the semantics of the mountain range as an inextricable part of the Nicosian landscape that receives and determines the northern view of the city.
The exhibition provides a stylistic variation that runs in parallel with the “Pentadaktylos – Contemporaries” exhibition of the Leventis Gallery, to last from 29 March to 16 September 2019.
