The Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia and the Municipality of Lapithos present their new publication entitled “Ceramic Art from the Soil of Lapithos”. The publication traces the pottery of Lapithos from prehistoric times and presents the results of recent scientific research. The seven in-depth collaborations that comprise the publication verify the everlasting production of pottery from the soil of Lapithos, this beautiful village located at the foothills of Pentadaktylos.
The presentation of the publication will take place at the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia on Tuesday, 15 October 2019, at 19.30.
“Ceramic Art from the Soil of Lapithos” is published by the Municipality of Lapithos under the academic supervision of the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia and edited by the Director of the Museum Dr. Demetra Papanikola - Bakirtzi.
