Discover the history behind the creation of the Green Line through a specially designed guided tour of the much-discussed temporary exhibition Sector 2: Nicosia. Drawing on archival material, personal testimonies and selected exhibits, the exhibition sheds light on lesser-known aspects of the period, weaving together a multilayered narrative of the events that marked the city.

The guided tour invites visitors to engage with history on a personal level and to reflect on the collective trauma that continues to shape the lives of Nicosia’s residents on both sides of the dividing line, living in a city that feels both familiar and foreign simultaneously.

The tour will be conducted by Panagiota Chatzoglou, Archival Assistant at the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia.
