The Friends of the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia and the A. G. Leventis Gallery invite you to a unique Easter workshop for adults, dedicated to the beloved flavours and traditions of Cypriot cuisine.
Join us for a special experience filled with aromas, creativity and the spirit of spring! Under the guidance of chef Marilena Joannides, we will uncover the secrets
of the traditional flaouna and make it together, step by step, just like it was prepared in Cypriot homes of the past.
Before we begin, we will take a journey through time with Cypriot Easter culinary traditions, sharing stories that bring together tradition, knowledge and the joy
of creation.
The programme includes:
- Introduction to chef Marilena Joannides
- Presentation on Cypriot Easter culinary traditions
- Hands-on workshop: demonstration of the authentic recipe and preparation of flaounes
