Capturing the City on Paper — A Field Trip Along the Green Line!

With the temporary exhibition Sector 2: Nicosia as our starting point, we will step into an adventure of discovery. We will search for hidden objects and photographs
as if we were following a secret path.

Our trip continues by heading out along the Green Line in Nicosia, where we will hunt for textures from objects and buildings, transforming ourselves into pattern collectors. We will notice walls that whisper stories, doors that form unexpected shapes and trees that symbolise life. We will make pencil and paper rubbings to uncover tiny details hiding in plain sight and make them our own. Anything can become a trace: an imprint, a line, a shape, a feeling. Our own city will unfold on our paper – a city made of textures, shadows, colours and imagination.

When we return to the Creativity Centre at the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia, everything we’ve gathered will come to life. Our prints and drawings will come together to create an imaginative portrait of our city!
