Coin – Message – History

25.10.2026
10.30-12.00

On the occasion of the new exhibition of the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia and Alpha Bank Cyprus, Messages on Metal: A Timeless Dialogue with Cyprus,
we invite you to a special family adventure!

Ancient coins are not simply means of transaction; they are small carriers of history and messages. Through shapes, symbols and figures,
they reveal the world of the people who created them.

On this journey, young and old alike will get to know the past, observe, discover and learn how a coin can “speak”.

Educational stations, interactive digital screens and our own interactive minting workshop will help us explore the fascinating world of coins.
An experience full of discoveries, play and creativity awaits you!
