Nicosia before Nicosia is a prominent historical lecture delivered by archaeologist Robert S. Merrillees on October 4, 1991. Hosted by the A. G. Leventis Foundation, the lecture explored the deep prehistoric origins and archaeological landscape of the Cypriot capital prior to its emergence as the city we know today.

The lecture was later published in 1992 as a 22-page book by the Foundation.
