A Thousand Myths and a Very Green Planet!

The A. G. Leventis Gallery and the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia are organising a creative summer programme this coming June and July 2023 with a duration of two weeks.

Inspired by the temporary exhibition of the A. G. Leventis Gallery, Myth Unbound: Ariadne – Andromeda, but also by paintings and other artworks and objects in the permanent collections of both museums, our young friends will have fun with exciting experiential and creative activities, learning about mythology through environmental themes.

The children will have the opportunity to interact with the two museums to explore magical myths and fictitious beings, to make visual and many more imaginative works!

This year the Summer School will take place at the A. G. Leventis Gallery.

The programme is curated by the museum educators of the A. G. Leventis Gallery and the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia, Theodora Demetriou and Mariel Kouveli.
