Ledra Palace: Dancing on the Line

Ledra Palace: Dancing on the Line

01.06.2021 – 31.10.2021

The exhibition presents the ‘golden years’ of the Ledra Palace, the emblematic hotel of the capital, and its fascinating social history. At the same time, it highlights the hotel as a means to outline the modern political history of Cyprus.

Objects, oral testimonies and rare archival material, combined with innovative technology, offer visitors an exceptional museum experience.

The exhibition was curated by Loukia Loizou Hadjigavriel, Antigone Heraclidou and Theopisti-Stylianou-Lambert, while the general coordination was organised by the Director of the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia, Demetra Theodotou Anagnostopoulou, and the curator Maria Patsalosavvi.
