The Association of the Friends of the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia and the A. G. Leventis Gallery invites you to a Christmas creative workshop for adults about… candles!
Christmas is approaching, and everyone is adorning their spaces with decorative candles. What do we really know about their making, their ingredients and their fragrances?
In the company of Evie Kritioti-Fekkou, soy candle creation specialist, the participants will have the opportunity to discover the long history hidden behind the candle, while at the same time they will create their own soy candle full of Christmas fragrances.
The programme includes:
- Meeting with the specialist Evie Kritioti-Fekkou
- Presentation about the history of the candle and the modern methods of its creation
- Learning how to create a soy candle with the instructions of the specialist
- Coffee break and talk about types of candles which are environmentally friendly
- Preparation, casting and decoration of our candle with the unique branding of the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia
