Ceramic Art from the earth of Lapithos

The Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia, in collaboration with the Cyprus Handicraft Service, are organising an educational programme for adults entitled ‘Ceramic art from the earth of Lapithos’. The five-week programme includes two lectures and three weekly three-hour workshops. Lectures and workshops will take place every Tuesday, 10.00-13.00.
The lectures of the programme, which will take place at the Leventis Municipal Museum of Nicosia, will introduce the participants to the history, technology and iconography of the development of the ceramics of Lapithos. The workshops, which will take place at the premises of the Cyprus Handicraft Service, will provide hands-on experience and knowledge of how medieval and modern ceramics were decorated.
